Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FileMassTort website and the free case review services offered through it. By using this site, you agree to these Terms.
Not a law firm; no legal advice
FileMassTort is a legal marketing and intake platform. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and no content on this site should be treated as legal advice. Submitting information through this site does not create an attorney-client relationship with us or with any law firm. An attorney-client relationship is formed only if and when you sign a written agreement directly with a law firm. See our Attorney Advertising Disclaimer for details.
Eligibility
This site is intended for residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old. You may submit information about a minor or another adult only if you are their parent, legal guardian, or otherwise legally authorized to act on their behalf.
No guarantee of outcome
Descriptions of lawsuits, settlements, and verdicts on this site are for general information only. Every case is different. Past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in your matter, and eligibility screening is preliminary — only a licensed attorney can determine whether you have a viable claim. Filing deadlines (statutes of limitations) vary by state and claim; waiting can permanently bar an otherwise valid claim.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, truthful information in all forms and communications
- Only submit information about yourself or someone you are legally authorized to represent
- Only refer another person with their knowledge and permission
- Keep your claim portal credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
- Do not use this site for any unlawful purpose or attempt to interfere with its operation
Consent to be contacted
By submitting a case review request, you consent to be contacted about your inquiry as described in our TCPA Consent disclosure, including by phone, email, and text message. Consent to marketing contact is not a condition of any purchase or service, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Claim portal accounts
When you complete a case review, we create a secure claim portal account for you and email you the sign-in details. The portal is provided to help you track your claim, share documents, and communicate with our team. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used in violation of these Terms.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and functionality of this site are owned by or licensed to FileMassTort and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute site content without written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability
This site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FileMassTort disclaims all liability arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including any decisions you make based on preliminary eligibility screening. The law firm that evaluates or handles your claim is solely responsible for its own legal services.
Changes; severability
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
