This Privacy Policy explains how FileMassTort (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit this website or submit information through our forms. The short version: we collect what you give us to evaluate a potential claim, we share it only to get you legal help, and we never sell it.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Contact details: name, email address, and phone number
• Claim details: the campaign you selected, your state, injury and exposure information
• Health-related information you choose to share, such as diagnosis details and medical history relevant to a potential claim
• Documents you choose to upload, such as medical records or receipts
• Messages you send through the contact form or your claim portal
• Referral details, if an existing claimant refers you to us with your permission

We also collect limited technical information automatically — browser and device type, pages visited, referring page, and the advertising campaign that brought you here (for example UTM tags or ad click identifiers). How we use your information

• To connect you with a participating law firm that handles your type of claim
• To create and operate your secure claim portal account
• To send transactional emails about your claim (confirmations, status updates, message notifications) — we do not send marketing email
• To operate, secure, and improve this website
• To comply with legal obligations and keep records of the consents you give us

How we share your information

If your answers suggest you may qualify for a claim, we share your submitted information with a participating law firm (or its intake vendor) so it can evaluate and, if you choose, handle your case. We also use a small number of service providers to run this site — such as hosting and email delivery — who may process your information only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information when required by law, such as in response to a subpoena.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Health information

Health-related information you submit is used solely to evaluate and route your potential claim, and is stored encrypted (see below). Where a participating law firm requires medical records, you will be asked to sign a separate authorization (such as a HIPAA release) directly with that firm — the optional acknowledgment on our intake form does not release any records by itself.

Data retention and security

We use administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information: connections to this site are encrypted in transit (TLS), sensitive health details are additionally encrypted at rest, portal and staff accounts use hashed credentials, and access to claim data is limited to staff who need it, with account activity logged. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we design for the failure cases.

We retain submissions for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above and to meet legal requirements, after which data is deleted under automated retention schedules. Anonymous analytics data is kept on a shorter cycle.

Your choices and rights

• Stop calls and texts: reply STOP to any text, tell any caller, or use the “withdraw contact consent” option in your claim portal — it takes effect immediately and is recorded.
• Access, correct, or delete: email intake@filemasstort.com and we will honor verified requests as required by applicable law.
• State privacy rights: depending on your state, you may have additional rights (such as access, deletion, correction, and portability, or the right to use an authorized agent). We do not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 18. Claims involving harm to a minor must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian, and some of our claim types exist specifically to help families in that situation.
